PROBLEM
The City of Lauderdale Lakes sought to promote itself as a vibrant destination for both locals and visitors, highlighting its diverse cultural offerings, local businesses, and community spirit. However, the pandemic disrupted the continuity of these efforts, halting events and stalling media coverage. The challenge was how to establish the city’s brand and showcase its local vendors despite these setbacks.
SOLUTION
MD Marketing & Consulting took the lead in conceptualizing and executing the Taste of Lauderdale Lakes Food, Music, Arts & Culture Festival in 2018 and 2019. The goal was to create a signature event that would showcase the best of the city’s culture, food, and entertainment, while elevating the visibility of local vendors.
Our team provided key guidance to local businesses, helping them maximize their brand exposure during the event. We also spearheaded a strategic partnership with HOT 105 radio station, securing media coverage from major outlets such as NBC 6, 103.5 The Beat, 99 JAMZ, and WAVS 1170. These efforts positioned Lauderdale Lakes as a cultural destination, setting the stage for future success.
